Mikey, the people who voted Conservative at the last election weren't all right wingers. They were offered no alternative.
Naomi....why is that when you express an opinion it isn't spinning but when I do it is ? I have described on this thread, and others, what I think about Boris..... am not allowed to ?

Despite what you think, you are not always right, and you are certainly not the font of all knowledge. Don't be so ruddy arrogant.
Because you can vote without having to lean to left or right. If I voted for Labour it would not mean I was a left winger, only that at that particular time I thought they were better equipped for the job.
Mikey, of course you may express an opinion, but if that opinion is unqualified, then I am at liberty to question it. That isn't arrogance - it's common sense.
Danny ....I am very much indebted to Cloverjo for this link to the Straw Poll that Ed gave us last May ...perhaps you believe me now ?

Mikey, are you deliberately failing to understand my posts? I am neither left or right wing and whichever way I vote does not change that.,
Naomi...its a good job that I and others don't bring you up when you express an opinion isn't it ? Whether I have hard evidence for opinions or not, I am entitled to voice them....just like you.
That poll didn't ask for political persuasion. It asked how people intended to vote in the election. As I said the people who voted Conservative at the last election weren't all right wingers. They were offered no alternative.
Mikey, //Naomi...its a good job that I and others don't bring you up when you express an opinion isn't it ? //

Some do - and you're at liberty to do likewise.
We will be poor if we stay in EU. We never signed up to import third world migrants, shouting 'human rights'. Our human rights is to keep and enjoy what weve worked and paid into/for.

Who in their right mind is happy to be ruled & governed from a foreign country across the English channel when we can well remember laws & decisions made in our own Houses of Parliament ? Who in their right mind is happy to regard rules demanded by foreign powers regarding our borders being wide open for all & sundry to overrun the country willy nilly ? Why are our transport operators being fined enormous amounts for bringing in foreign personnel when we are constantly told that we have NO borders ? It is all sheer madness & we will be no better off until we tell the EU to sod off & we get back to having our own proud nation back.
Danny....I accept that you may be undecided and vote differently from election to election....lots of people do that...they are called floating voters and there is nothing wrong in that whatsoever.

Now, a question for you...have you read my link above ? ...you asked me to provided evidence of the political leanings of our active AB Members, and I have now done so.
No you haven't as explained by Naomi at 14.36.

Your poll is of undecided voters, not voters as a whole.
and then after a few replies =
we will find out they arent ( the only brexiters )

another belter from 3T !
Danny...at 14:04 today, you asked me to produce evidence of when we were asked "when did we have a poll asking for our political persuasion"

You asked me again 6 mins later (!)

You then posted this at 14:13 >>>>"He's also so evasive"

I have now done that, as quickly as I could ! Do what you will with the info I have provided.
I fits with my own experience that it is the over 60's have fond memories of 'the old days' when Britain ruled the world, who are the main supporters of 'leave'. They inevitably start the argument with ''Back in the 60's ,or Back in the 50's'' and then go on to describe a 'rose tinted view ' of when Britain really was 'Great Britain' and those nasty foreigners had to look to us for leadership.
The fact is that we have been in the EU and it's predecessor the EEC for over 40 years, so few under 50 have any memory of 'the old days'.
I am in the category of being old enough to remember, but I do not wear rose tinted specs. The EEC was a good idea the EU is not.
There is an adage: "Too many cooks spoil the broth.". I get the feeling from reading many posts on here over the past few months that many of you consider to UK to be floundering in a vile concoction created by the foreign cooks across the Channel. On the other hand, some of you are crying out "More soup, please.".
Nothing wrong in Britain being Great. Which way would you have it. The UK a puppet state of Europe just used and abused ?
