She wore a headscarf to keep her hair in place. Simple, as. A headscarf keeps a hairstyle in place, without squashing it, like a hat would do.

Dear me, dear me, aog. This was a quick trip outdoors to greet her guests. Not, a state visit or where she would be meeting lots of people. Her hair is short and like mine, naturally wavy/curly. It has to be styled and wouldn't take well to a helicotor's rotor blades or a high wind.

As for Michelle, her hair is more longer and straighter, not needing to be held in place.
