Of course the UK is not (YET) involved in this ridiculous “quota” scheme. However, those countries that are need to resist this proposal for all its worth. I doubt that the EU has the power to impose such draconian sanctions (they cannot be described as “fines”) but even if it has it should be a wake-up call for all countries involved as if it were needed) that the EU is an institution unable to control its external borders and its solution to this mass influx is not to keep it out, but to “distribute” it when it arrives.

I hope people in the UK do not consider that because we do not have a “quota” that we will not be affected by this preposterous lunacy. Once again the only way to escape this bedlam is to leave. It won’t cure the migration problem but it will certainly remove any possibility of the euromaniacs delivering the results of their utter ineptitude upon the UK.
