Clearly when receiveing extreme provocation then do not react like Neanderthals as many on this site would have us believe.
//I was thinking: hell no, they can’t march here!//
So clearly she hates democracy. I think we know the one with the real problem here.

Now, if she'd stood in front of Sp's besties that would be brave.

No it doesn't! Just because, on this occasion, the Nazis behaved does not indicate that they are all choir boys!

If that is your definition of 'extreme provocation', then you obviously don't know much about what the term actually means.

Making a stand is not the equivalent of 'hating democracy' - her emotive language does not equate with the notion of 'hating' anything.
And the biggest irony of all is that the democracy that non-right-wingers have fought for is what allows these clowns to parade about in the first place.

Naomi - //andy-hughes, //the democracy that non-right-wingers have fought for is what allows these clowns to parade about in the first place. //
Not with you.//
I am unsure what you mean - do you infer that I think they should not be allowed to parade? I have never said that - because I don't believe it to be true.
//Do you mean only left-wingers have fought for democracy? //
No - if I meant that, I would have said that.
It is possible to be an opponent of fascism without being a 'left-winger' - and to fight for democracy as a simple basic right, without holding any serious political views.
By definition, fascists do not believe in democracy - but anyone who does not share their views can, and probably would, fight against them on the basis that they are against the basic principles of freedom.
