A lot of people on here, especially our right-wingers, decried Obama's "interference" in the referendum. Can I presume that those same people will also say something similar, now that the Trump Ogre is agreeing with them ?

of course they will! You can never accuse Brexiteers of having double standards.

"but most have been content to just concentrate on a play on words. "

something youre excelling at...as usual

maybe you should get a dictionary and look up the meanings of words like opinion, personal etc
Mikey, as has already been said, Obama didn't simply express an opinion.
Isn't it interesting how two people can listen to the same interview and come out with completely different opinions of what was said?
What Trump is in the UK on an official visit? Is he off to meet Her Majesty? Will the Biased Blueschitt Corporation feature him on every tawdry news bulletin? I would think that the future President of the US is worth listening to, as he will be in power as the changes are made. Obama is a busted flush in the states so why should we give his warblings credence? I do hope that the next Ronald Reagan visits us soon. He and Boris will admirably.
Hey mikey, you know everything about UK politics. (although strangely you haven't mentioned them this morning)
When I went to my Polling Station yesterday, all the officials were wearing Labour rosettes. Should I be worried about this or is it normal for South Wales?
Whatever he said opinion or recommendation it is a boost to the 'remain' vote!
Sorry The above post should have ended "He and Boris will get along admirably". (My toast was on the verge of burning mid sentence)

Eddie...with you all the way there !
//Whatever he said opinion or recommendation it is a boost to the 'remain' vote!//

I am sure you are correct Eddie. Mind you Obamas sly attempt was a boost for the real world, leave the cesspit, exit vote.
Eddie/Mikey, //Whatever he said opinion or recommendation it is a boost to the 'remain' vote!//

Can’t see how that works. As I understand it most people seem to think he’s a buffoon – Mikey included.

Buffoon or Ogre...either is good for me !
Whoever becomes PUTO I wish the UK politicians would stop the undignified pleading for the 'special relationship'. The USA only acts in its own interest (naturally) and so should we. That's not to say I'm against shared intelligence.
Mikey, if you believe he's going to influence anyone you can't really think he's such a buffoon.
POTUS!
None of his business. He's bang on. Hows that?
"Buffoon or Ogre"

ok lets see shall we...ones a billionaire property magnate businessman running for President of the US of A...

the other is a loser living in wales still sitting in the corner of a pub drinking bitter and still banging on about the good old days of labour to anybody that might be stooopid enough listen, unable to get over his beloved circus party getting shafted left right and center, has opinions on everything but expert or little knowledge in none....

haha....
What's with these personal attacks on other people on here ?
Question Author
Bazile....its because they would rather play the man and not the ball.

Empty vessels, and all that jazz.
He's allowed his opinion, as is everybody; the difference is that he isn't over here, arm round Dave's shoulders, issuing unspoken threats. I'm coming round to a Trump presidency! Lesser of two evils. There you are, I have an opinion on the US election! He can have an opinion on ours as long he doesn't try to force it on us. (First time, I promise you, that I've had any opinion on a US election - mainly 'cos it wasn't my business.)
I don't know why people here are worrying what obama says, bye the new year, he won't be president any longer, and it may well be trump.
