In both WW1 and WW2 they were all part of separate Sikh regiments, so they all dressed the same, but now there are calls for them to return.

Danny, I would imagine that the Sikhs fighting alongside the Allies were in the Indian Army and thus had their own uniform. That soldier in the video that AOG posted is in the British army. Strange how we went from the US guy to the British one...Anyway, it's an interesting discussion.

Of course it makes a difference in what he wears, he is in the Scot's Guards and as with all guards regiments their ceremonial uniform includes the wearing of a 'Bear Skin'.
