... ....and why is Obama against this bill? Unless............///

he is /was a professor of constitutional law ...

hey come to think of it why doesnt the US go back to torturing suspects without trial in places like Git-mo and others ?
It would be an escalating provocation. SO what if they sell, someone else buys. The value goes down temporarily. Might get a bargain.

Meanwhile whilst it is fair that perpetrators should be able to be brought to account, it's surely so much hot air if the country accused aren't going to accept any reached verdict ? Nor penalty ?

I think this has the hallmarks of pleasing the citizens whilst causing big diplomatic issues which may not be something that has no affect. Particularly in that part of the world.
There seems no sense in this. How can a government be held responsible for the actions of a number of its citizens?
I suspect the claim would be along the lines of it being funded etc..

OG: "it's surely so much hot air if the country accused aren't going to accept any reached verdict ? Nor penalty ? " That's why they should confiscate the assets and pay compo out of that.

Oops, wrong thread, must pay attention.
Ever considered joining the Diplomatic corps TTT?
And there wouldn't be any repercussions ? I think it all sounds highly dangerous.

Unless you are British of course. We are made to apologise whilst fending off compo claims for the actions of a few "citizens" centuries ago. Problem is for the US, Saudi doesn't do guilt trips like our half arked "leaders".

but thx for lightening up one of the " why dont we pull out the fingernails of passing muslims today ? " threads which are so numerous and predictable nowadays
Luv The Doc, when you tell Baldric you have had BA from Tora, he will think he is still "dreaming". Haha
You really are getting boring with the 'death in your bed by Muslims' PP.

3000 people dead and you think it isn't ok to question the cover up of any Saudi involvement?
