Why so bothered, TTT, do you walk or drive past it on a daily basis? Personally i couldn't care less who, or what, is on the plinth, as i will only ever see it accidentally on some news programme or artsy-fartsy programme.

I think public art is valuable, and although I may not always like the plinth art I do think it is important to have it there.

I recall many years ago, Ken Livingstone let slip on HIGNFY that the forth plinth had been reserved for a statue of Her Maj once she passed on – why would he make up such a false claim?
