This woman should have been given a long term in prison, since this is the third time that we know of that she has broken the law.

I wonder how many more like her that are repaying our gullibility in such a way?

/// She said the smugglers kept increasing the amount they said she owed them and she was left so destitute her children were forced to walk 12 miles a day to school in Sheffield because the family could not afford the bus fare. ///

Only 12 miles to school, that should be like popping down to the corner shop for those who have walked most of the way from Nigeria.

Bonkers, aog, stark raving.
Sentencing guidelines are offered to the judiciary, but you can never legislate for the human foibles of their worships - which can include a high level of detachment from the world in which the rest of us live, and for which they are designed to sentence responsibly.

I can see an appeal against undue leniency riding into view ...
Unfortunately many of our judiciary have spent all their time in academe with no experience of the 'real world'.

As it's a known fact that she entered the UK illegally,
Why the hall is she still here?
MAABOF!

Can you translate, because it is so frustrating not knowing what the letters stand for, when the only one I know is LOL.

Mad As A Box Of Frogs
Take a number of the pictured amphibians put them in a cardboard container and read them a news article...

Voila

Mad as a box of frogs.
Absolutely ridiculous sentence.
She has abused the hospitality accorded to her by the UK in spite of having entered illegally.
Forget suspended sentences - deport her and her brood straight away.
As well as being just for we, the taxpayers, it may also deter others who are like minded.
Another one having a good laugh at us !
Will things be different after the referendum? Could the likes of her be rounded up and put on the first flight back to whence she came?

/// Mad As A Box Of Frogs ///

Ah, thanks for that Baldric, now putting the two together I can see it.

I simply thought TTT's abbreviation was much stronger than that.

Tried it Mam, and it didn't work.

You must have some placid frogs then.
Having read the entire article I have to agree that the Judge made the correct decision.
AOG she did not 'walk most of the way from Nigeria' she was smuggled in by criminals who then kept blackmailing her for more money.

Obviously you are in the minority.

/// AOG she did not 'walk most of the way from Nigeria' she was smuggled in by criminals who then kept blackmailing her for more money. ///

You came with her did you?

Most of these migrants walk until some are put on coaches or trains by countries that want to shift them onto their neighbours.

The smugglers that you refer to, mainly ship them across or partly across the Mediterranean in their rubber boats, they don't take them all the way.
We won't need prisons as all a criminal has to do is receive 'support from the church' to woo the judiciary.

This would be more like nutcase law to me.
