I watched it and yes, I agree, he was put through the shredder, he was physically uncomfortable and under pressure, he didn't have an answer to most of Andrew Neils questions, he looked to be under stress, his tongue kept licking his lips, to me signs of someone who didn't want to be there.

Hilary Benn must get "waffler of the year" award after tonight's performance. Not a single answer to any of Neil's questions. This is the core of the Remainiac campaign. Endless waffling and begging us to believe in their failed ideology.

Johnny37, he didn't answer the questions, thats why Neil interrupted him, he just started to 'go round the houses', waffled, blubbered and couldn't give a straight answer. The man was destroyed last night, if it had been a boxing match the ref would've stopped it after 10 minutes!!
