Why oh why did the BBC invite a **** like Eddie Izzard onto a very serious debate about EU in or out. He was a disgrace. Did anyone else watch it ?

I did not watch it but I don't have to, all he ever does is sl46 off the nation and climb up St Mandella's plaster.
I did not make it to the end, best bit was when the member of the audience shouted at him to 'shut up'.
David Dimbleby seems to lose control most weeks these days.
Sorry Ron but I was constructing my thread at the same time as yours, but it seems we are both of the same thought.

Aye. Wasn't going to watch as had enough of the lies, but it came on, so I did. He may be enthusiastic about everyone being one big group together no matter what problems it causes, but he needs self control, and know that if he gets an answer he doesn't like continually claiming he hasn't been answered just makes him look a prat. I can't recall anything useful he added to the debate, but he gave it a darned good go at spoiling it.
Yes, I did. I am in full agreement with you whiskeyron. I did think about switching the tv off but watched till the end. Absolute disgrace. Mind I think it is often now becoming a shouting match between the panel which doesn't help anyone.
look and sounded like a complete konb!!!
*Looked
Was it because he was wearing a pink hat?
Can't see the problem: it livened things up a bit: not a bad thing, when the sinister and dull Grayling, and smug Allison Pearson were on the panel too. Hilary Benn is not exactly a laugh a minute either.
Every time I watch QT there seem to be 3 "outers" versus only 2 "inners". Does in alternate on a weekly basis and I have just been unlucky?

You didn't notice the eye make-up, lipstick and painted nails then?

There may be a place for such things at the Notting hill Carnival, but not on a serious national debating panel, such as the BBC's Question Time.

Totally agree aog.
Next week - Dame Edna Everage....
He can dress how he likes as far as I am concerned. The issue was his behaviour.
The more these types are wheeled out the better for the leave vote...good. I include Blair, Sturgeon (?!), Major etc etc.
Ed Milliband's been wheeled out today.
