I think it will be a big turn out. At my local Polling station at 10.30, one of the staff said that there had been more people through the door already than for the May elections. Be interesting to see the final turnout figures.

Received wisdom has it that a high turnout favours REMAIN. I'm not so sure as at my polling station you couldn't get moved for pensioners.

There were 6 other people voting at the same time as me...that is a first...normally I am only number 12 or 13 that have voted by late afternoon. I was told that the polling station had been busy since they opened first thing in the morning!

Glancing at the teller's sheet as she ticked my name off, about 10.30, there had been quite a lot of the village through already - farmers rise early!

I called on my back from getting the papers arrived about 07.15 and there was half a dozen people there.one of the ladies was saying she'd been supervising voting for years and it was the first time she'd had people waiting for the station to open.Incidently most or the people claimed to be in the out camp.

at least, there's quite an amount of family balancing - for example, my sister and bil - he's out, she's in - odd as they have property in France but they haven't voted, saying that they have cancelled each other out.

We haven't sold Mr J2's house in France - been for sale for 2 years. We struggle to live her and could really do with a sale and no longer having to pay cleaner, gardener etc.. We have both voted to 'Leave'. We put our country before ourselves, as one should.

Anyone rich enough to want a holiday home in the Vienne? Not far from the circuit Val de Vienne, if you like motor racing? Lovely area, going very cheap, £50K will get you it. Anyone? :)
