In his continuous campaign to get us out of the EU, he and his wife have now sacrificed his own EU salary plus expenses which amount to £250,000 a year and his wife's earnings of more than £30,000 a year.

Let us hope that at some time he will be able to obtain a seat in parliament, so that he can further fight for the wishes of the ordinary British man and woman.

His wishes might be commensurate with yours AOG but they ain't with mine
A peerage at the very least. Lord Farage of Brussels has a nice ironic ring to it.
Prime Minister would be good!
I think he would be a loss to politics and thus the country if he now just left the arena, especially since there's a long way between getting the public consent and getting out well: but should he want to call it a day I'd not blame him.
A knighthood, - but fat chance, even though I wouldn't mind betting the Queen is delighted by events. A late great birthday present.
It would have marginalised the royal family even further. Not that they are not already an anachronism.
prime minister for me..he gets my vote
We have him to thank for bringing about this vote. I hope he does well on whatever path he chooses to take.
He'll find a new gravy train!
jomlett
So you agree the EU is nowt but a fat cat's gravy train. The leave voters are vindicated then! :-)
Game show host ?
Maybe he could set up a business in the offices that Morgan Stanley are vacating?
As disappointing as it may be for some he is not going to disappear from politics - at least I hope not. He's done a fantastic job and I wish him well.
He certainly deserves a knighthood for conspicuous service to his country.
^ For democracy and listening to the ordinary people :)
He will only be able to get anywhere in government if we scrap our antiquated voting system & adopt PR
If a single sitting MP had influenced the country's fate in such a huge way, without being PM, I'd be making noises about it. As he was an MEP I think his actions were entirely justifiable and I cannot (or just won't) complain.

Can't think of a new role for him at the moment. Plain MP is almost beneath him after achieving this. A million ways in which he could have ****ed it up but got it sorted.
AOG...he has tried loads of times to get a seat at Westminster, but unaccountably has failed to do so.

Do you think the electorate are trying to tell him something ?
Lets nominate Nigel Farage as Minister for Overseas trade
