And new number plates sans the EU circle.

I've just got to renew mine. Probably get the blasted EU one still though.

Don't thing you have to buy Euro number plates. We were offered a choice when we got our new plates but as we go to France for two or three months each year we chose the easier option. Just have to put a GB sticker on if not a euro plate.

And those of hanging on to our paper driving licence will have to have the photo licence and renew every ten years - another money spinner

hc....not sure if the plastic driving licence is anything much to do with the EU, but I might be wrong there.

Anyway, whats wrong with the plastic card? I have heard anybody complain about it before, and its got to be better than that scruffy paper thing.

The paper thing will last me until I'm 70; you have to pay to renew yours every 10 years

I have a passport for that. Anyway, as a driving licence and passport are both legal documents they will both have to be changed before we leave the EU.

hc...what about the hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of passports that will still be valid on the departure from the EU day ?

People will not take very kindly to having to pay unnecessary amounts of money.
