Yes.
More to come tomorrow, probably. At this rate, Corbyn will finally become an effective leader but only because he has no-one to lead.

I've had some level of fun over the day playing "Shadow Cabinet noughts and crosses/ bingo" eg with Sky's twitter feed pictures ( eg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cl514-NWIAAfTKe.jpg ) but only to distract me from how utterly shambolic it all is. And the two most senior politicians in the country entirely absent since Friday morning. Ditto Gove and Johnson, for that matter. I don't wish to be overly dramatic, but this is quite an important week in history coming up. If all goes well, the last three days will have been awful, but just a blip. Despite my pessimism, my doom-and-gloom, we could do with that.

I wonder if Mikey will be along shortly to tell us the Tory party is in disarray, and to call for a General Election?
mikey could be "leader of the opposition" before Wednesday. We promise him all the help and support he deserves of course.
Then the Labour Party is doomed already. :O
It feels as if the whole country is in disarray. Even the friends of mine who voted Out are frightened of the future. Both main parties are falling apart.
Poor mikey. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
I guess there will be a general election sooner rather than later
Otherwise ironically the referendum result will have led to the uk being governed by an unelected leader (!)
And one with Turkish ancestry quite possibly lol

Cloverjo, only Labour is falling apart. The Prime Minister is resigning - he will be replaced.
What a racist thing to say, ichi. I'm fauxrious.
ICHKERIA there are many instances of the PM being replaced without a General Election and Gordon Brown became Labour leader in an uncontested election when Blair resigned.
and to quote someone else:
what is the question ?

( will it go down ? or increase ? would be a good question )
Mikey
Few weeks ago you were gloating about the disarray of the Tory party.
My Grandkids have just left us after a fantastic weekend celebrating their future life back in a new GREAT Brtain. They left some baby wipes. Have you any use of them to wipe yet more copious amounts of egg on face? The Tory's lost a leader. You have a leader who WILL fall and eleven shadow cabinet resignations in one day!!!!
Your stalwart Welsh Labour heartlands voted out except Swansea where you live.
Who have you left to support? The char lady or office cleaner in Labour HQ?
Looks like there is space for loads more new members in UKIP who have migrated from Labour! That is one migration policy that UKIP are happy with. Roll on the next G.E. :-) BTW. Far be it for me to gloat!
o god I thought he was gonna offer to wipe your a-r-s-e Mikey !
well it is the week end of London Pride and so on
and so obviously apposite to a thread and question about Labour resignation.

the grandkidz in my family have a completely different attitude
their futures have been ruined by the older 'me' generation

andwith the Tories in disarray
there seems to be no Labour party to take political advantage.... ho hum we live in interesting times
Very interesting times peter. Have to say the message I'm getting from young adults is great disappointment and anger, they feel the "" older generation "" have let them down.

London Pride (Fullers Brewery Chiswick). No doubt many reported drownings by Thames Division of drunken celebrants over last 3 days. "Interesting Times"?? Well that is mikey's favourite expressions when he feels smug. Sadly his political predictions become a scream. We all start a book to see a correct forecast will, one day, be forecast!
If Mikey predicted, "peace in our time" then I will start digging a bunker in my garden!!!. :-)
I think the reason the younger generation feel disappointed is because the Country feels divided and unsettled.

They were told this is for their future and feel confused by it all, many seeing it as a backward step.

Tough. How long do we have to wait for the younger generation to make up their mind. The older generation have waited over 40 years to get this vote.
These younger poppinjays have not had a clue how much better it was in a free country ruled by our own Parliament and people.
If they subscribe to Communism( Like they never lived with Nuclear bomb and fallout advice on TV every night during the cold war)then go and suck Putin's arris.
Most of us who are very happy with the outcome are not being given a show on the regular media, here is Peter Hitchins to compensate;

Curses! If you want to see it you will have to google, "Peter Hitchins so happy about brexit youtube"
