Is it all stitched up for Boris, or could Theresa have a go?

I much prefer our chances with May.

Probably BoJo but personally I'm not sure of him.

Some of those in that Sky list are total non starters!

Gove for Chancellor? I'm not so sure I reckon Gideon is making a pitch to BoJo probably to keep his job in return for support. If Gideon navigates the country through the next couple of years and is successful at Brexit then he would likely be the next pm after Boris (Unless Labour manage to get their act together of course)

Useful for displaying their latest bike.
It's a shame Ghisela hasn't got the high level experience. She was the best thing in the credit campaign. Very sensible. Would be a difficult one though as she is german I believe

Credit... I meant Brexit
No one seems to have mentioned Dr Liam Fox?

Or his special friend.

The advantage that Mrs May has is that (as part of Dave's Top Team) she could claim continuity from the last election manifesto & hence avoid a potentially bruising General Election - at least booting it into the long grass until a time of her choosing.

A lot of Tory backbenchers are in fear of their local electorates now & would vote for Mrs May to avoid the possibility of being booted off the gravy train.
Boris would get my vote
Anyone but Boris!
He has proved to be the master of 'Mushroom Management' over the 'Leave' vote.
'Keep them in the dark and feed them BullSh**t.
Message for Ed !

Could we have one of your little plebiscites on the new Tory Leader, and perhaps one on the new Labour Leader ( if we need one of course ! )

New poll coming up! I've taken all suggestions from this thread and a couple from the Sky article. It looks pretty wild!
Don’t want Boris.
I couldn’t trust anyone who is as sneaky and duplicitous in his private life as he has been.
Thanks Ed !
Bigbad...If you are seeking a politician that isn't sneaky and duplicitous, then you may be on for a long, fruitless search.
I wouldn’t want to tar every politician with the same brush, Mikey, but as far as I am concerned, an adulterer is lower than the slug that was sliming it’s way across my steps this morning!
I agree that adultery is nasty...it caused the breakup of my parents marriage, which was very hurtful to my younger brothers when they were little.

But I am just pointing out that there are an awful lots of skeletons, in an awful lot of politicians wardrobes.
I am aware of that, but until the skeletons are publicly rattled, I would rather take people at face value.

P.S. The slug on the steps will never slime again!

They might overlook the fact that she was born in Germany. But being a Labour MP might make things a bit tricky for her. ;-)
