There's no question that some teachers influence young people's politics, but to answer the OP, since it appears that only about 25% (can't remember to exact figure) of eligible young people voted, I don't think Young versus Old is the defining characteristic. I think it's a myth that was perpetrated by the Remainers in order to encourage the young to vote 'Remain'.

Yes bazille, I remember that and I also said that many have become traitors by proxy, they were seduced by project fear in the absence of knowledge. The young are especially vunerable to these scare tactics and yes I know what you are trying to to do and yes, like many they are treacherous by being puppets of the education system that turns them out.

Yup my MIL voted out and cited immigrants and getting rid of the 'scum' keeping whites from getting jobs!!

Hubby an I voted in and we are surprised and disgusted at her attitude.

Who are the losers? We'll have to wait and see. But i think it's better not to think in terms of winners and losers here- in the long run we will be winners if it works out. Same would have applied whatever the result.
