It isn't the only group that seems to be concerned with something legitimate but, by blaming the 'leave' group and the leave win, simply puts folk off siding with them.
Symbols aren't going to do owt. There are petitions to the government asking them to clamp down of racist activity if you can tolerate the blame game.

// it is a news agency and should report the facts. And since public opinions are split it has no remit to pick one it likes and push it anyway. //
But that is not what is happening. If there is a national debate about the Leave/Stay campaigns honesty, then the BBC should report it. If the Brexit vote has had some unfavourable consequences - £ diving, shares down, credit rating trashed, then the BBC cannot ignore those facts. Report bad effects of Brexit does not mean it supports Remain.

But that is not what is being discussed here. The example discussed was pushing the lies about the money for the NHS which although some like to claim was a promise or pledge it has turned out to be in the remain groups imagination as no evidence has been shown. Yet the BBC write about the issue by starting as it if were fact. That is unacceptable, and not what we have come to expect from them.
Anyway, my post was in answer to an earlier one that brought up the issue of reflecting opinion. (I'm really trying (unsuccessfully) to keep out of the discussion as it has descended into farce with some still claiming what has been proven not to be so earlier in the thread but that fact that, that still occurs seems to make it difficult.)

It hasn't upset me in the slightest AOG. I never expect politicians to be truthful. But if I let the lies go unchallenged, it looks like I accept them, which I don't.
The £350million statement was clearly misleading. If we join the single market as Boris intends, there won't be any £350million to reallocate anywhere.

Gromit, //But if I let the lies go unchallenged, it looks like I accept them, which I don't.//
My thoughts precisely – which is why I endeavoured to put you and Mikey right on the subject of the slogan.

And again. We don’t know what terms will be agreed on the single market – if any – so yours is an unqualified assumption. I do, however, agree with Retrocop regarding the pins.

Apparently the wearing of a safety pin is nothing new.
