If Remain Had Won .....

Would al; the brexiters be running around like headless chickens trying to find ways we could ignore a democratic decision by the people? I for one said before that I would accept it, yes I'd moan a bit but I would not be running round hysterically trying to reverse the decision. Remainiacs, you lost, get over it.

What a country of snivelling, whinging, pathetic, cry baby jerks we seem to have become. Well, 48% of the country.

well, Farage said if Leave lost by 52-48 he'd want a second referendum, so...

//s far as I can tell it's the Brexit gang that are harping on about it. The remains tend to give their opinions on posts like this. I've only seen one bitter thread started by a remainer. //
I hope you do not consider me a 'gang member'. I resent that implication because I voted out. I know my own mind and often speak it and need no gang membership. I leave that for the ignorant youth who deal drugs and carry knives and are incapable of making an informed decision for themselves or too idle to get off their butts to vote.

look, bloody well move on, the way forward is about finding economic/social/trade strategies that give this country(ies) a chance of stability. To me, delaying A50 is sensible, in allowing us to garner our strategy, resources and negotiators, a second referendum a necessity to accepting what they come up with as a divorce proposition - or perhaps one or two compromise propositions that are more inclusive in nature.

Honest - I didn't look at the second page when I posted the same link as you.
You're right.
If Remain had won, this is what we would have heard these four statements all over the country:
1. The Government overspent on their campaign. It wasn't a fair fight.
2. With nearly half of the electorate voting to leave, the Government should consider a second vote.
3. There needs to be at least 65% for the vote to stand.
4. Has this series of Antiques Roadshow finished or what?

//Yet instead of dutifully calling for a rerun, Mr Farage hailed the victory as the first step to bringing down the entire European Union.
Told people are mocking Farage’s comments, a senior party source told the Mirror this evening: “I’m sure they are. We won.”
Asked if there was a contradiction, he added: “Our feeling is that the status quo often gets a boost and this is the new status quo.
“You’re right, 48-52 is close, however the PM’s gone, the Chancellor’s got to follow, the whole Project Fear campaign is in disarray and I’m sure Bob Geldof is crying into his *** cornflakes.//
St. Nigels response to the 52/48 ambush.. Priceless. Haha.
