May has said said that the person to negotiate will not be her. So who will it be I wonder?

I bet May has offered him a plum job.
He has promised the impossible, you can’t expect him to try to deliver it when he knows he would fail.

It's the whole 'poisoned chalice' thing. I'm surprised he put his name into the hat in the first place.

It's all quite odd.
A man of principle. Not many about.
I'm very pleased to hear it. I never thought he was the right candidate for the job, I don't believe he was a genuine 'Brexiter', and I suspect that now the referendum is done he doesn't want to be the one to lead the country out of the EU.
He isn't up to anything, his collective colleagues have painted him into a corner.

He is once again looking like a buffoon rather than a tactical genius.
I think he just realised he couldn't win. The Tory polls had him some way behind Theresa May.
SP, not odd at all. People have been saying for a long time that he has his eye on the Prime Minister's job. He was expected to put his hat in.
Is that sarcasm, Zac or do you actually believe that?

Far be it from me to intrude on private grief - particularly when you consider the farce my own party are playing out at the moment - but they are really fighting like 'a sackful of ferrets'
Well , what a surprise for the tories .

Theresa May will now be the Country's second female PM.
Are you happy with that ?
I think David Cameron may have a smile on his face their lunchtime for the first time in 7 days !
The public would never have trusted a serial adulterer in 10 Downing Street
"... I don't believe [Boris Johnson] was a genuine 'Brexiter'..."

Wasn't that what I was trying to say about him yesterday?

Surprised all the same to see BoJo stand down. He was apparently popular with the people. Apparently, both main parties have a problem with popular leaders...
Bazile, I'm not so sure - but you could be right.
Jim, //Wasn't that what I was trying to say about him yesterday? //

I don't know. We're you?

Bazile .

As long as she sticks to her pledge to take us out of the EU and curb immigration.

I and many others said it a long time ago, it isn't really a shock.
I *think* so...

But anyhow. Credit to Boris for standing down from a race if he couldn't possibly win it. The Tory infighting is at least more dignified.

Why the heck not? The first one was 2nd only to one if not his equal!! W.S.C.
Lost his bottle.......more huffing and puffing than a leader .makes a mockery of the vote. Surely the new prime minister should come from brexit camp. Or maybe he was never a true brexit at all .o
