This Referendum issue is sort of like a math/maths class: It has created quite a division amongst you, and the gap is multiplying daily with the addition of acrimonious remarks which is really subtracting from the quality of the site.
Perhaps a points system should be introduced, and then when so many points have been issued to an Aber, that Aber should then be suspended or banned, after first being allowed to appeal.
Why should anyone need to appeal?
The rules are plain for all to see and if you can't be bothered to abide by them then, quite frankly, you don't deserve to have the freedom to post on this forum.
Nice one, retro, except that at the same time that he was assassinating he was also committing political suicide. He is finished. Theresa won't give him a job.
Retrocop,
I like the user we are discussing and do not wish to assasinate him. When he was last suspended I posted that he should be reinstated.
But accusing another member of being a traitor or terorist sympathiser is not acceptable debate, and contravenes this site's rules. The pister should heed the friendly warning.
Gromit
I am not involving myself any further in this post. I certainly do not like the tone of some baying for blood.
As it is 1st July I will heed the advice of the survivors and forbears and keep my head below the parapet.!!
Gromit....if that person has been suspended 14 times and allowed back in,
I am at a loss to understand why they were let in a 15th time.....surely that person has been given plenty of chances already ?
In a democratic and free country, everyone deserves a fair trial with an opportunity to voice one's explanation in their own defence.
For example, if a person is systematically abused by others and they are forced to retaliate in such a way that they get suspended etc, they should then be allowed to provide evidence against their abusers.
