Bertrum, one could be forgiven for thinking that democracy is dead.

I think it is Corbyn under that hood
Love the tweet from Duncan Weldon "Lots of well paid London professionals now at the mercy of politics for the first time. Not just something that happens to other people now"
It's absolutely staggering, to me, how monumentally stupid and suggestible so many people seem to be, nowadays.
Baldric, haaaaaaaaaa! Could be!!
I see Tim Farron is there supporting democracy
I know Svejk. Those Brexiters eh? Tut.
"the Brexit will never be ratified," - say it enough times gromit you may start to believe your own BS. A50 will be invoked after the Tories sort out their leader, the next general election is 2020, end of.
Bertrum, one could be forgiven for thinking that democracy is dead.
If Article 50 is not invoked it will be
^Then they'll find out what a real riot is like.
Frightening thought.

Thank you for Best Answer, Ladybirder. :o)
Thanks for the pictures naomi and trt. Oh well there's a surprise. No jackpot again for me this weekend. . :-)
As I just said on another thread. 48% voted remain while 27.8% are so unconcerned they did not even bother to vote. That is 75.2% who either want to remain or do not care either way.
“I’ve never seen anything like it” gushed the BBC reporter.
Perhaps you should get out more then.

She then said there could be as many as 40 thousand people there.
Let me know when it gets to 17 million.

Then she interviewed a demonstrator who didn’t have much to say, except to mention “racist” but didn’t really know what should happen now.

Nice day out for them, I suppose.
oh, it isn't retainers after all? Just when I'd given the butler the day off to attend.
whoever is in charge, if A50 is not triggered and drastic changes not made to our relationship with the EU then democracy will indeed be dead.

Those who march or otherwise act against Brexit are denying democracy.
there's never been democracy in a country with a hereditary head of state, a house of lords and a prime minister chosen by his chums. For real electoral democracy, look to the US (or Europe).
Yes I look at the EU as a bastion of democracy
^^^^

get your blinkers off jno....one of the reasons I voted for brexit was that the EU would not know democracy if it bit it in the bum...and as for USA....don't get me started!
Eddie, what's this? Your own version of democracy because the usual one doesn't suit you this time?
