Funny enough, I had my haircut earlier, stuey. I could have sworn the young flibbertigibbet was 'after me', the way she was brushing against me and making a fuss of me.
When I went to pay(expecting her to slip me her number) she said, 'That'll be OAP rate, then, dear'. grrrr.
Soz for going off topic.
Ha ha ha ain't life a ***
Same for me, Svejk. OAP rate: $15 or 9 pounds in your money.
Good for him. I wish all these whiners would shut up and let everyone get on with it instead of trying to undermine their country and it's democratic vote. We've all been on the losing side in elections, but that is democracy.

Everyone wants to contemplate what it is like in places like Zimbabwe where people troop into polling stations to vote and their votes are unaccountably 'lost' somewhere. Not my words, our vicar's this morning - she has family there and we support a school and orphanage. Contacts are close.

We should be shouting ffrom the rooftops our pride in having achieved Democracy - it has been a hard fight over many generations. My words.
^^^ I refer to OP.
