I believe that there had been a rise in Jews either of leaving, or checking, before the Referendum (I assume this is because of the growth of Islam in the UK). Before I left France there were newspaper headlines to the effect 'The Jews are leaving'- there was a distinct movement and most were going to Israel. This was due to the Daesh atrocities.
They are wise to check their options and will also be well-advised to wait until negotiations are completed.

In answer to your original question:
"Why Should The Descendants Of The People Who Fled Germany, Now Wish To Desert The Country That Took Them In, Now Only To Return Back To Germany?"
Because Germany has moved on since the WWII.
There are British people who have relatives who fought the Nazis, but are living in Germany.
You have German nationals living and working in the UK.
Likewise, you have Americans living and working on Japan, and Japanese nationals living and working in America.
WWII was a disaster for millions of people and we need to remember it and learn from it. Lessons from those years need to be taught to children and grinchildren and we should honour those who lost their lives during the conflict.
But to let it govern us, or in some way determine the way we live now, is not...wise.

For decades after the Holocaust, many Jews harbored an almost instinctive aversion to things German. But today, tens of thousands of Israelis, Jews from the former Soviet Union and even many American Jews are actively choosing German citizenship.
Sound unreal? It’s today’s reality.
According to a study by Dr. Sima Salzberg of Bar-Ilan University, 100,000 Israelis have applied for and received German passports.
“This is the largest group of German passport holders in the world outside Germany,” said Emmanuel Nahshon, deputy chief of mission of the Israeli Embassy in Berlin.

And now thanks to Angela Merkal Germany is swamped by peoples of the Islamic faith, some who do not possess any liking for Jews, also due to this influx of migrants into Germany, there has been a rise in far-right extremist, yet another reason why Jews should be wary of re-settling in Germany.
