Black men being killed while being arrested is not anything particular new in the US. It has been happening for decades. But now due to technology, everyone has a video camera in their pocket and a channel to show their fim on, the full horror of what occurs is being broadcast to a mass audience.
The Philando Castle killing was broadcast *Live* on Facebook, before CCTV could be confiscated and a PR statement could be issued.
There are now literally thousands of videos of people being killed by the police, in the public domain on YouTube and LiveLeak. Taken collectively they add up to the impression that the Police are out of control and dangerous. That turns public opinion against the Police, and has ended up with these attacks on the Police.
I am just thanful that I do not live in a place so rotten and messed up as the US.
