You cant see any swans because our residents (Bert and Ethel) are up the other end of the lake with their cygnets. When I pop over to the pub later, no doubt the two residents there will be about with their brood of 10.
No doubt you live here and that is your perception, Divebuddy. I was brought up near here, went to college here, taught at the Regional College, got my first job here - my perception is quite different.

NJ....(19:08)...I have no idea how many people in Peterborough completed their Census forms, but around the rest of the country most people did.
From my experience of working on the 2011 Census, very few people failed to compete their Census forms.
But if non-completion, amongst non-white families were to be so large, as to skew these figures enough to make a difference, then many tens of thousands would have needed to have done so, which doesn't seem to be terribly believable. I am sure that if the Census was suspected of being that inaccurate, we would have heard about by now.
If I can sum this AP "report" up, its a very sloppy piece journalism indeed, rambling and full of holes you put your fist through.
But its the sort of thing that political opportunists fall upon, like manna from heaven.
