He is just telling us what we already knew. Blair behaved like a President, and had little regard for parliamentary process, his cabinet colleagues, or MPs.
Robin Cooke, an honourable man, could see what Blair as up to and resigned. Prescott chose to sit on his big fat behind, and let this disaster happen around him.

Retro, it is worth reminding you that the Conservatives were in favour of the Iraq war, and voted with Blair, but 139 Labour MPs rebelled and voted against it.

He would be banned from serving in public office.
There is no evidence that he wants a job serving the public again, as he is too busy raking in £millions from his tours.
It might mean he is barred from ever joining the House of Lords, but again, if he had wanted that, he would be in there already.
