never got anything right, predicted gloom and doom, none of his "predictions" are remotely accurate, obviously no idea about banking/finance etc. Time to send him back to Canadia if you ask me.
We should have a Brexiter as Governor. Someone who has who worked out how the UK will function outside the EU, who has properly costed the change and has a clear and fully planned vision.
And preferably can ride a Unicorn while dodging flying pigs.
None of his "predictions" are remotely accurate, !!! " This is what will happen, Boris will win the Tory Leadership and invoke article 50 shortly afterwards , End of". Can not think who predicted that ? maybe it was the governor of the Bank of England or maybe not.
I had thought that so far his predictions have been largely true: a short-term shock (that appears to have eased somewhat, particularly once the Tory leadership contest ended prematurely restoring some amount of certainty) -- and, of course, anything for the future still to be determined.
Its Osborne's predictions that haven't been right, and he still hasn't told us how he is going to fill in the huge black hole left in his Budget, by his defeat in the House of Lords.
I think the Governor of the Bank of England can rest easy tonight, but I'm not sure that the same can be said for Osborne.
