//LtD mentioned a couple of nights back that since using her new Avatar showing her how she is, Indian, she's met a lot of negativity on here, it's not that uncommon by the look of it.//

Who is LtD ?
love the doc ?
Spelling error http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/members/luv-the-doc/
I hadn't realised she'd changed her avatar nor that she'd experience an adverse reaction. How disappointing (the latter).
The implication that any negativity has arisen through the knowledge of the lady's ethnicity is totally without foundation in my opinion.

If that is true it just compounds my opinion that many posters struggle to retain information or are wrapped up to much with what they have to say and only what they have to say. I was aware LtD was Indian even before she posted.
As was I.
Luv the doc has met a lot of negativity on here , she is free to go !!!!!!!
Why is this site beginning to revolve around Baldric and his house-guest? I suppose one reason is that I just added it; however, frankly, my dear...

What's up stuey, do you feel someone is getting more attention than you?

Same question to you anne.
I neither seek attention or crave attention on AB. I don't feel the need to post daily bulletins of my personal life.
I read what LTD said to Wolfie last night and I couldn't believe how a user could get away with being so nasty, and just have her comment removed. Disgraceful. My days on here are numbered now, I think. A small bunch of nasty people spoiling what used to be a nice atmosphere in CB.
Well I for one have never heard of a non-white person being in the UK illegally and am amazed at the absolute effrontery of the immigration officer.
They come round here, checking IDs at security sensitive sites and handing out free cash to thin-skinned complainers.

Perhaps a salon-like anteroom could be provided for interviews, complete with tea and coffee making facilities.

The rest of us will just have to lump it though.

..rather anyone who has shown negativity since they learned she's Indian should be banned.
I had no idea she was Indian,...I take it her avatar showed that she was? I never bothered to look closely at it,....why should I care what a person's ethnicity is?

Well said, Wacker, although I hesitated to post this in case I got accused of trying to form a "clique"......

Exactly. They even got away with removing their shoes like I have had to do. I was told to remove my belt at Pathos and walk back through their security arch and my trousers fell to my ankles. How white middle aged gentleman have to suffer indignity in the name of security and yet do we complain and ask for Cypriot goats in damages.? The security who were helpless with laughter waved me through and said, pointing at the CCTV camera as I retrieved my dignity and trousers, "Look you are on candid camera" Mrs retro could be heard laughing over the coast of Turkey. Often wonder if some stalwart of security lined his pocket with the tape to Cypriot TV network!!
"answer removed" already? Oh for funk's sake, is there a new moderator on here?
