Having viewed the video again, what I thought was his arm is actually a stripe on his jumper he does seem to be taking aim rather than random shooting.

It must be true mayhem and chaos out there. The body count is bouncing up and down from 17, to 10,to 6,to 8. Some of these figures are allegedly from police spokesman. I would of thought, by now, they could confirm a more accurate figure of fatalities without including those fighting for their lives in hospital who could well increase the death roll.

I posted a similar link to this one twice on different threads post Nice.
I recall I wrote ,"The head of French Intelligence says" etc etc etc and an ABer posted "French Intelligence. Best oxymoron I have read for ages!!!"

This link is better imo because it encompasses other European neighbours with the heads of security from, Germany and UK (MI6).
It states that the right wing are rising in Europe (no surprise) with regards European policies towards immigrants made by the likes of Merkel.
A new stance on this is that it is believed that right wing fanatics are amassing weapons to drive immigrants away and that middle class Germans are leaning further over to the right wing.

It would appear that 'French Intelligence ' is not the oxymoron that was stated and shouldn't be dismissed!

I'm not watching the news at the moment so don't know the latest.
If it is right wing extremists they've chosen an odd section of society as targets. On the anniversary if the Breivik attack it is strange that their victims are random when they could easily attack the nearest refugee centre, mosque or lefty gathering(as Breivik did).
As for mosques offering shelter that's very benevolent, but could easily become a terrorists refuge if it is Islamic extremists. Probably best they remain closed in the current situation.
Details are obviously far too sketchy at this present moment and will be far clearer come the morning I guess.
