I'm sure all of them looks at a Republican bid for the presidency, regardless who, as serious. The question is how to play it in public. Appearing to think he is a danger may give him more credence in the voters' eyes. And of course the biggest issue is that there is no one in the frame one would really want in the top job anyway. So the USofA is stuck with choosing someone to put up with for now and hope there's a better option next time.
