I do - Clinton is crooked, old school and incapable of the ideas or motivation that the US needs for new change. Shes to beholden to big business. Almost every time you read the news something else is coming up where she was at fault. Yes Trump is forthright but he will be running the country through the normal chain of government but asking a whole new set of questions and has said he will start getting the deficit down.

Yes. Let's see a different style of politics, a new approach. Let's see if he's as good as his word. To get where he has, with such a vast amount of support(when he was given a snowflake's chance in a furnace) in such a short space of time proves that there are an awful lot of people in the US who are either desperate to be heard or are yearning for a change of tack. Either way, it'll be interesting.

My concern over a Trump Presidency is that, unlike incumbents before him, he doesn't appear to actually understand how politics works. I watched an amazing drama about Lydon B. Johnson last week (highly recommended, it's on Sky and called 'All The Way', starring Brian Cranston) and after it, I read up about him.

I was amazed at his political guile. He was pretty amazing in the way that he ensured Congress and the House of Representatives fell behind him in getting Civil Rights Amendments through the house.

What I'm getting at is...aside from the rhetoric that gets you into the White House, you absolutely need to have a sure grip on the subtleties of the American political system.

Even Ross Perot (the last businessmen to run) was politically savvy.

I worry that Trump might be a Harding in the making...
