I don't know. Perhaps you should broaden your viewing habits. You might see another side of the argument if you watched Fox News. I believe they hold the view that Hillary is fit for nothing more than hard time in a federal prison while Trump is all that stands between America (making it great again) and a future where it will be Canadians and Mexicans building walls to keep its wretched people out.

You can't really deny that America's institutions are racist, and therefore unable to act fairly, can you youngmafbog? Surely it would be better if these institutions were fairer?

I suppose his alleged antipathy towards foreigners blithely ignores the that his wife is one. He may word it badly but he wants a hold on immigrants while the procedures are rationalised. Hes going to have a hard time tidying things up as all the states pretty much have different laws which makes a mockery of the term united states.

I mean things like the police, army, political establishments, judiciary, academia.

I would think they'd all have varying degrees of racism and breadth of diversity in them. The police seem to be a deeply racist organisation, simply based on the number of back bodies they seem to be piling up on the sidewalk.

This is an obvious (to me anyway) institutional failure to see non-white people as real citizens.

I don't know if diversity courses (or similar) stop the kind of conversations you're wanting to have? It's about tolerance usually, not acceptance?
