As ludwig has already pointed out it is a
‘Wear What You Want Beach Party’, so I was merely making a suggestion, nothing bizarre about that at all.

Incidentally it must be the sun where you are, since it is overcast here.

So perhaps you should take your own advice and keep out of it?
