Surely In A Democracy
We are allowed to criticise the establishment? In fact even show the establishment up for a lie they have given out as a truth?
If not we will be no better than North Korea where the Dear Leader has to be revered as a living God that can do no wrong.

Just another reason some in the Labour Party are living in a bubble.
An idea I had was that the rally's and hustings taking place with the Labour leadership (in fact all political caampaigning perhaps) shouldn't be in front of an adoring frenzied crowd of your supporters but in those undecideds and those that don't think you or your policies are right. That would show them how the others really think and will show their debating powers!!

Branson / Virgin exposed Corbyn for being a liar, so this does look a little like sour grapes.
Virgin is a big UK employer and Branson treats his staff somewhat better (e.g. unlimited holidays) than, say, Philip Green treats his. I do think Green should lose his knighthood as his morals and ethics are below "chivalrous" standards.
Personally, I think people can choose to live where they want and that people who live in the UK, and businesses who operate in the UK, have a duty to avoid legally as much tax as they are morally comfortable with avoiding, especially if said taxes were going to fund the kind of loony policies that Corbyn and McDonnell would put in place.

Corbyn wants to take Branson's train business from him by Nationalising it. Branson retaliated and defended his business. Not sure he showed Corbyn up as a liar though, other people were also forced to stand because the train was full. The Honours system should be shaken up. Political toadies, donors and civil servants all receiving gongs for nowt. Not to mention third rate entertainers and the Prime Minister's wife's stylist. Honours should be for people who have achieved something, not for doing the job they are paid to do.

The politician is calling for someone to lose an honour for a critism of Corbyn. I am saying it is undemocratic to say he should 'get demoted' so to speak for whistle blowing the leaders lies. That is not a democracy.

Ironically, it was Bransons chumminess woth a previous Labour leader that got him his gong. The Blair Government put forward his name in 1999.

No, Branson retaliated as Corbyn claimed the train was "ram-packed" when it clearly from the CCTV evidence it was not, hence Corbyn lied.
Otherwise quite a lucky coincidence, as that particular off-peak train is rarely ram-packed and Corbyn turned up with a film crew to make a film about a ram-packed train. Also I wonder if he got permission to film on that train.

Gromit, I have travelled on many trains where people sat between carriages rather than seats in carriages. I have also travelled on many trains where people did not sit in reserved seats even though the time for the reservation had passed or was not due. I am also aware that probably 1 in 3 or more passengers on that train were Labour supporters, especially as it was a train to Newcastle. Also, it's odd that Corbyn's team did not reserve seats. Also, regular travellers on that train report that it's rarely packed.
