Please enlighten me. How is Nigel Farage still in the EU Parliament? He doesn't speak for the British Government, surely.

Mikey - who said anything about a landslide? A majority is a majority! (unless you are a Remainer)

I think Nigel Farage is just making sure that everyone remembers Nigel Faraage as the one who lead us all out of the wildnerness. Not sure of his kudos as an MEP in Brussels, but Mrs May has not invited him to join the Brexiteers in Westminster.
I think his not being in the Tory party may have decreased the odds of him being asked. Plus succeeding at winning the referendum probably didn't help.
Right answer Chrissa LOL.
LB/Chrissa - Aww shucks,you're too kind!

vetuste_ennemi, I trust AG will not object to sharing your gift with me. I like Sam Harris. Thank you.
Share and share alike Naomi!

Thanks vetuste!
Can you imagine how much it must piste of the EUSSR to still have to pay darling Nigel's expenses and stipend whilst he rips the schitt out of them? Lol.
askyourgran.....with respect, why would Farage be invited to anything ?

He is not an MP, despite trying God only knows how many times, and he isn't even the Leader of his Party, the Party that only has one MP.
Mikey > with respect, why would Farage be invited to anything ?

I would invite him to go 12 rounds with Juncker (and I don't mean at the bar!)
^Me too.
If it's not a k/o he would still win on points!
The reality here is that Farage is a nobody. Why should Mrs May invite him to take part in the negotiations over Brexit ?
Mikey > The reality here is that Farage is a nobody.

Where have you been in recent times?

I must have been imagining all this Brexit campaign!
But why should he be invited to assist in the arrangements for Brexit ?

OK, he was largely responsible for the narrow margin to leave the EU, but thats all done now. I still don't understand why he is qualified to be involved any further ?

Then why on earth do you let this nobody consume so much of your valuable time?
Mikey > But why should he be invited to assist in the arrangements for Brexit ?

Well, you could say that Mrs May partly owes her elevated status largely because of Farage's successful input into the campaign.
I am joining in the debate.....in exactly the same way you are Talbot !
Agchristie....Mrs May already had a foot in the door of Number Ten, long before the Referendum was held, as she was one of the favourites to succeed Cameron. All that has happened is that she has managed to move in a bit quicker.
