We are currently living through a period where emotion and hyperbole seem to rule in the political world. Racist attacked are on the rise in GB and we have a new UKIP leader urging people to carry flaming torches, a Tory PM trying to bring back academic dejection at 11, and a Labour Party hell bent on self destruction.
So you don't need to be a political genius to see that there's a large constituency out there for whom the Lib Dems may now seen like a natural home. It may not be fashionable right now, but it's time will come again
