Good question from moderator (re stopping immigration form terrorist hot-beds): what do you do about terrorists born here and who are legally Americans.

Pence arguing about future imports rather than answering that Q.
harry s truman said that the vice presidency wasnt worth a bucket of poss - he should know he was one once
I have watched excepts this morning and I thought it looked like a re-run of the Muppet Show !

Except it wasn't very funny.
Politics, thanks to the tv 'debates' has descended into an insulting match, particularly on the left. A return to a debate on policy would be much welcomed by me.

And hasn't that Democrat got a face you could just punch. Similar smirk to Bliar.
I noticed that the other guy couldn't dispute any of the points made about how stopid and bigoted Trump was.

Can't have you looking it, can we?
Whilst American politics are important as they have a knock on effect on the rest of the world, it has descended to the state of a very bad TV mini-series. All the characters are one dimensional and unbelievable. The villians are pantomine baddies and the scripts are dire. There is lots of money involved, but the rusult is a rotten tomato.
Senator Lloyd Bentsen to Dan Quayle in 1988 vice-presidential debate:
"Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy"

We still remember it, but who remembers Lloyd Bentsen today, or even his defeated running mate.

So, you know ...
ichkeria......To be honest, I am having problems remembering who Dan Quayle
was either !
I guess he wishes people wouldn't remember him: famous for all the wrong reasons, like failing to spell (was in "tomato"?) when visiting a school.
Potato(e), I think !

Although, to be fair to the poor man, he wasn't the first person to make that mistake, nor will he be the last.
You see, you do remember him :-)

The BBC mis-spelled SIEGE in the 10 o'clock news studio last night. That was a real shocker
