In Wales, the councils are legally obliged to home people on release from prison but not families who have been evicted by private landlords for rent arrears.

That doesn't sit well with me.

Until recently councils were legally obligated to home families whatever the reason for their need of accommodation.

As it is now acceptable for families to be homeless we had better start building workhouses.

I agree with hc4361.

Build workhouses, if they don't pay rent, they shouldn't be housed.

It might help if they stopped producing more children.
