Despicable.. .not just Trumps words...but the fact that several in here can say " he did not say that". He did...he was speaking about and within the context of, the terminally ill,and no one else. And...there were people laughing. Sometimes the human race is beyond my comprehensio n....

It is reported by the anti-Trump Leftist media that Trump said this :
/// "Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called on the terminally ill Wednesday to “hang out till November” so they can vote for him in the election against his rival Hillary Clinton. ///
To my knowledge he did not say that, what he actually said was :
"hang out till November, and go out and vote".
Nothing unusual in that, as all politicians are keen for a maximum (sick, elderly, disabled) turn out on voting day.

In my view, your argument is semantics, and it is too thin to work.
When Mr Trump says ' ... hang out till November, and go out and vote' - and let's leave aside the ghoulish attitude of that post, as though dying people will have nothing more important to do with their last days on earth than vote - do you in all honestly think his subtext is - 'And vote for Hilary if you like, I'm not bothered either way ...'
Somehow I doubt it!
