I think Baths said, she was well looked after. My mum was too, once her cancer was found. It's in the early stages or less life-threatening illnesses that we have problems getting them see to.
I've heard of some GPs retiring "for one day" only...dunno what that's all about.....;)

Baldric at 09:37 Thu, I'm still waiting for an answer to that too but I doubt one will be forthcoming. I think Mikey, not understanding the system, was rather hoping that everyone would blame the government.
When I go to The Christie for treatment, they phone me on my mobile to ask me to go up to the 1st floor when they're ready for me. Had to sit on comfy chair in conservatory where heating was on, doors were wide open, and there was a massive electric fan on. ;)
