She's already said she'd like to pull Scotland out of the UK and into the EU so what relevance is it to her?

I imagine it’s because, like me, he’s a little tired of seeing and hearing Scotland’s First Minister droning on about her concern for the 41% of the Scottish electorate who bothered to vote and who voted to remain, and of her suggesting that some kind of “special deal” should be negotiated to enable them to retain their rights to EU membership. Lots of areas in the UK voted to remain but those areas do not have EU membership in their own right. I imagine he’s also concerned that undo emphasis is being placed on the needs of these 1.6m people and that concern for them may jeopardise a smooth and timely exit from the EU, for which more than 17m people voted.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: two parts of the UK voted Leave and two voted Remain. While the overall figures were in favour of Leave, I think that makes for a very poor overall mandate for "Leave".
Of course Cameron and co were presumably so confident of victory and so scared of the Ukip tendency that no caveats were built into the referendum result. For heaven's sake, it was actually left to LEAVE supporters to raise that petition about the result!!

//NJ, the percentage of the Scots electorate who "bothered to vote and voted remain" is higher than the percentage of the UK electorate who bothered to vote and voted leave. //
Here we go again. Give us the NUMBERS of voters not a distorted % of committed voters. Perhaps the non voters were 100% Brexicutioners.
