She is simply calling on Muslim groups to help the immigrants to integrate and 'understand' Danish values. Just basic common sense.

There should be a happy medium though. To bring a flavour of the familiar is fine; it enhances the native culture: but to impose one's own culture as one equal to the native one, is not. (Besides my picture of British ex-pats is one of retired folk who are accepted abroad for improving the economy and being fairly quite/respectful as older folk tend to be, thus not causing concern. However the issues that arise with multiple cultures in a country, and mass migration, have been debated here umpteen times.) Balance is key. As is not overwhelming the maximum reasonable population level in a country.

Queen Elizabeth II (whom God preserve) is an intelligent woman, speaks several languages and follows all world and European events closely, she seldom if ever speaks out publicly, though sometimes when things she says in private get leaked, they always seem to be apposite.
In the closing years of a very long reign, I for one would love to know what she really thinks.

Quite right. You don't have to become 100% French, Danish or whatever, but you do have to be non-threatening to the mores and laws of your new country and to respect and understand your new fellow-citizens. You also have to comply with all the rules and not make yourself 'different' as far as you can. Language is an example to which I keep returning; if you live there (I include OAPs) you simply MUST speak at least a very basic level of the common language. It is only polite and at least shows willing!
