Well she certainly has a gorb on her by the sound of it, but I don't think it's a sacking offence, just ill thought out maybe.

This is another example of one of the numerous points about Brexit that the vast majority of voters and the government did not consider.

What this woman said was put over rather crudely, but her point was valid. A stark warning of the dangers of restricting movement of people, and, more importantly, the sharing of medical and scientific data, was given in the BMJ a few weeks ago.

She's apologised - but I question why such nasty, vindictive thoughts enter people's heads in the first place. Perhaps she should be referred for psychological analysis.

Everyone knows that people who voted Brexit are not too bothered about research funding being cut as a consequence. People didn't knowingly vote to cut funding for vital research, but they probably would have still voted out even if they had known it could cost infant lives.

Northing new there you may say, but I actually disagree with the leniency with which she responded to your post - it's not so much silly as grossly offensive.

This woman can mitigate her remarks by saying she expressed herself badly in the heat of the moment, with added nerves caused by being on national television.

You have all the time in the world to think what you post, and edit, or even delete it if it is wrong, and offensive.

I thought Gromit had cornered the market on incorrect and grossly offensive remarks on the subject of Brexit - just shows, there may be no depths too deep, and no shortage of people aiming for them.
