I wonder if Mrs Hughes (I assume she exists) keeps a tally of the oft declared crushes/fantasies declared from time to time.
I suspect she has run out of chalk, Douglas...

"Man has girlfriend..." How does that even make the News...
andy-hughes at 17:12, ok, I’ll change the ‘me’ to ‘us’. The rest …. :o)
apparently the Sun ran a story saying she could be seen on Pornhub. It seems this was a normal non-porn film she was in but someone put a clip onto a porn site. I would have thought the news value of this story (woman appears in non-porn movie) was zero, but the Sun thought otherwise.

So yes, I can see where Harry's coming from.
Why ?

I would have thought it was obvious. They will hound the sons of Diana, in exactly the same way they hounded her. And why....to feed this daft, unhealthy cult of celebrity.

Lets hope these boys are luckier than their Mother was, and it won't kill them in the end as it did her.

I think both the boys are quite well adjusted to it, (been there, done it) it's their partners that we need to be on the lookout for.
Baldric - that is the gist of Harry's Protest. He is exempt from the level of prying and invasion that can be and is being directed at Ms. Markle as a private citizen, and that is what upsets him, the inability to protect her from it.

I think it’s The Sun who gleefully led with ‘an admission’ that Harry and Ms. Markle are dating before anything else. Wow, tomorrow, will The Sun confirm that it will go dark before morning?
This sort of thing is exactly why I haven't read a newspaper, except the local weekly, since the phone hacking debacle. What the papers don't know they make up and their sleazy headlines make some people look further and actually buy the rubbish.
"What the papers don't know they make up and their sleazy headlines make some people look further and actually buy the rubbish."

Add "And content to outrage the masses to the point of frothy mouthed anger and make readers offended on others behalf"

X this by 1000 and you'll have Daily Mail
If you can not stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
I think you're entitled to go into the kitchen without journalists trying to set it on fire.
Naomi vs andy-hughes. My money's on Naomi ha ha
She probably can't cook anyway jno.
m/b, all he has to do is let her have the last word , end of!.
jno - nicely observed.

No-one can help who they fall for, and it’s hard enough to be in a relationship with someone relentlessly in the media spotlight, who comes from a family who are not known for their warm welcomes extended to women who are not from British old money (and in the case of Diana – not even then!) without the world media trying to get the goss from everyone you have ever spoken to.

It’s the age old argument, this is not in the public interest, it’s in what interests the public.
Gulliver 1 - Don’t worry about the cooking, Harry has ‘people’ to do all that sort of stuff.
andy, hope they do not do every thing for him.
I fail to see why any of the family are surprise about media attention re relationships.they are one of the most popular soap operas around to some.
anneasquith - I am sure that Harry, and the rest of his family, accept attention as part of the job.

But intrusion is not the same as attention, and it is this difference that Harry is quite rightly taking issue with.
Oh come on, there will be intrusion, to believe there would not be is a bit naive.
