Democraps Get Their Trumpuppence
C'mon it's better than TTT's efforts (btw brace yourself for his gloating)
you reap what you sow ... a stupid choice by both parties but one obviously had to be more stupid than the other.

But to see the reaction this morning, its the 15.79% that favoured Trump that seem to making the most noise !
I don't mind putting my head above the parapet,as its water off a ducks back to me, but where are all the people that voted for Hilary ?

//Who would have thought that this racist, misogynist slob would win ?//
Lots of people, you obviously mis-read their posts
//It would seem that the people that he went out of his way to ridicule and insult voted for him after all....blacks, Hispanics, and women. A clear case of turkeys voting for Xmas if ever I saw it. //
I did expect a little better analysis than that Mikey, A clear case of staggeringkly sour grapes here methinks. No questions on the why? There had to be reasons that people voted for him probably similar reasons to why people voted for Brexit and why 55% of Scots voted to stay part of the Union.
The simple answer is that a majority of people are fed up with the brand of PC politics we've suffered for years, Liberalist lefty politics that have turned people away from social politioc to a more right wing brand. Nobody, none of these clever people ever see the reality what's happening. Why are right wing politics on the rise across the globe, simply because people are fed up with the appeasing politics of the left. It's time for change, maybe this result will precipitate that

I don't mind saying that I clicked 'Clinton' in the Ab Editor's poll, based on not very much (so perhaps I shouldn't have voted at all) - I have said all along I didn't envy America's choices.
I don't envy them their result either.

YMB and Mamy...thanks.
The shyness issue is recognised now by Pollsters, in that its generally seen as shameful for saying that you were actually going to vote for Trump.
But the Poll that Ed gave us didn't really require people to lie....why would they need to....it wasn't face to face after all.
I work in the industry, of which Polling is a part, and I have seen attitudes to racism, for instance, harden considerably over the last 8 years. People used to be ashamed to admit they were racist, but now they are much more ready to admit it.

vetuste_ennemi...I am afraid you are never going to get me to accept that !
Handsome is as handsome does, and I can't simply forget all the awful things that Trump has been saying these last few months, and they are something that will come back to haunt him, I'm sure.
Hilary would not have been my choice for the Democrat candidate, but up against Trump, there was no contest, for me at any rate.
I still hold to the view that Trump is a racist,, misogynist, ogre, and will need a lot of persuading that he isn't....leopards don't change their spots, especially old leopards like him.
He may have fooled some American voters, but he hasn't fooled me.

vetuste_ennemi....I go to work, and I will need to until I am 65 at the earliest, so what is "Unlike you I've actually spent time doing it (going to work, geddit?) rather than pretending to to do it", all about then !
As a IT programmer, I doubt you ever met the people in their own homes....
I do, nearly every day.

The very sensible American majority are not confusing the 'man' with his policies - as you seem to do. I have never known a presidential candidate put his cards on the table as clearly as Trump. All they have had from the awful Clinton is more of the same and the endlessly repeated meaningless mantra" Better Together".
The best candidate has won, end of.
