OK...just asking ...meant no offence !
Well he did it - didn't think he would. Well done Mr Trump !
What does the PENCE stand for on Trumps placards?
It's the name of the new VP.
Yes....the American Vice President, the most superfluous politician in the world....nothing to do all day. The permanent understudy.

Apart from Corbyn.
Actually, I think Pence will be very busy.
No Jack...wrong again !

Corbyn is the Leader of his Party and represents Her Majesties Loyal Opposition.

He has nothing whatsoever in common with Mike Pence, who appears to be homo-phobic ::::

Mikey,

Clinton now has more votes than Trump. A deeply divided nation.
Thanks Gromit :::::

So it was the Electoral College that actually won it for Trump, not the American People !

What a wonderful system, where the least popular candidate wins !
Mikey, //What a wonderful system, where the least popular candidate wins ! //

How many seats do you think UKIP should have gained in the last General Election?
Good point naomi.

Seems mikey wants his cake and eat it too ;0)
When it suits him, Talbot. ;o)
talbot....UKIP would have, and did get 1 seat at the last Election, because they didn't get enough votes. Hilary DID get enough votes but lost to Trump anyway.

The popular votes was for Hilary.....not Trump. Se has nothing to be ashamed of here.
mikey; //So it was the Electoral College that actually won it for Trump, not the American People !// - well it wasn't the Chinese!
and if you're unhappy with that, you must also be unhappy with the fact that 4 million UK voters voted for UKIP in the last G.E. but only got one seat in the House.
Khandro....no, I am quite happy with our method of voting. The people were asked about some system of PR a few years ago, and roundly rejected it.

You are conflating two entirely different issues here. Farage lost his many attempts at getting a seat, and UKIP only managed to get one seat in 2015.
Under our first-past-the-post, system that is all they could have expected. there are no prizes for coming secind.

Ditto for America... the Electoral College qualifies the winner, not the popular vote. If Americans are satisfied with that resulting in the lesser popular candidate winning, so be it.

But Hilary was more popular yesterday that Trump, that is all I am saying.
I want a highly-paid job as a pollster! Off to collect my winnings tomorrow and I won well on Brexit, too. Re. earlier posts, don't underestimate Marine Le Pen. Same situation in France- towns vs. country. She'll do well in the first round - the others will then probably band together, but it could happen. Depends on 'Events, dear boy, events'.
Mikey, //But Hilary was more popular yesterday that Trump, that is all I am saying. /

And UKIP was more popular than the LibDems. You can't in all honesty apply your 'logic' to one without applying it to the rest.
jourdain; Pleased for you. The lesson should be, whatever the pollsters say, bet on the opposite and bet early.
What are the odds on Marine le Pen at the moment?
Best odds available for Mary the Pen is 11/4
