I think you do Nigel a disservice, gulliver1. He is, after all, the only British politician to have publicly stood up for Trump and even shared a platform with him. He had nothing to gain then, when Trump was widely expected to lose by a mile. Very probably they have developed a mutual respect and even liking - and this could do our country a tremendous amount of good regarding trade-deals. So the friendship should be encouraged.
I am aware that you will misunderstand and, probably, scorn me and call me a sycophant or something because my point of view does not agree with yourher narrow, agenda. Never mind. :)
