TCOGB!
Bleak as long as Corbyn and co are in charge.
I am puzzled as to how the reporter thinks UKIP handing lots of Labour seats to the Tories would represent a breakthrough for ... UKIP ! And in any case a Labour slogan 'vote UKIP get Tory' is likely to restrict that phenomenon anyway.
All thanks to Corbyn not May.

Let us hope UKiP get their act together and hold May to account since there is no other viable opposition to do so.
One poll on its own doesn't mean much, but the 16-point lead isn't even that much of an outlier. The last ten or so polls appear to have the Tories enjoying a solid 40%+ of the popular vote and Labour in the high 20s (a couple of 32s and 33s).

Worrying times for Labour, to be sure. What's not clear is what's led to this strong performance for the Tories, and whether or not it will sustain itself until 2020.
Corbyn has brought the party low imo.
Not that it overly matters, but I think the Mail's headline is wrong. This isn't a seven-year high lead for this particular polling company -- maybe the highest numbers for the Tory party -- as the margin was 17% in an ICM poll in early October (43-26).
^ Maybe it's in part because there are plenty of patient people out there who trust May to deliver Brexit?
And we all know how accurate Polls are don't we ?

Many people on here have been telling me that for years, so therefore it must be true in this case as well !
i would have thought the lead would be bigger. Voting for the current Labour circus is a wasted vote.
