PM 'will publish plan for Brexit before Article 50'

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38224169

The only reason that she has now done this is because some of her own Members were going to vote with the opposition..

I'm afraid that it is becoming clear that she just doesn't have the skills needed for the Top Job. Promoted beyond her abilities even.

Murdo, that doesn't make sense. If funding ceases instantly, why would we continue to pay our subs? That would be stupid.
yes I have but they are not funded by the EU they are funded by those that fund the EU, ie Us! It's like having a scrounging brother in law who says, lend me a tenner and I'll give you the fiver I owe you!
that was for murdo.

The plan
Get the best deal possible.

I have never in my life voted for the conservatives but to say May isn't up to the job is just wishful thinking. She hasn't yet been in the job long enough to make a proper judgement.
What won't help her is *** like Tim but dim Farron and his band of half-bakes who are clearly not up to the job of credible opposition despite what the deluded fool thinks.

When the result was called we as individuals had two choices ... respect the result and pull together ... or do their damnedest to weaken the UK and attempt to drag it into the gutter.

The 48% can't be happy at all with all the good news that keeps coming ... but keep fighting and you may well get your dream of a knackered UK that has to crawl back to the EU with its tail between its legs.
Talbot, an admirable post. Well said - and spot on!

Nice one Talbot, exactly right.
It's hardly wishful thinking assessing that May is not up to it. I wish she was and maybe she will prove me wrong - as I said earlier she's got a tough job, not least because the government seem as divided over Europe as rest of the country.
As for 'pulling together' if you think the boat is heading for the rapids you don't offer to help row in the same direction :-) The idea that we are in a mess because we don't all support Brexit is objectionable and ludicrous. If we all woke up tomorrow as europhobes the government would still be in a mess because we'd still have the problem of how we leave the EU in a way that works best for the U.K.
The fifth column Talbot. Insidious and never ending until impaled on the dagger of truth. Well said.

I didn't say that though did I, so what are you talking about, Ichkeria?
One of Farron's half-bakes ... you only have to listen to the first 2 minutes but it is worth a listen.

Because, Talbot, you said
"When the result was called we as individuals had two choices ... respect the result and pull together ... or do their damnedest to weaken the UK and attempt to drag it into the gutter. "

What BOTH views should acknowledge at least is that the other side has what they believe to be the best interests of the country at heart.

Which sounds nothing like

we are in a mess because we don't all support Brexit
Been pondering this a bit.. OK zonked after weird afternoon at school - peaceful intensive reading groups in Library invaded by hearty lads demanding
Taikwondo class there (error in new timetable) aND THAT was just a start.

Why don't we simply stop paying the subs.? All the world would know why and we are not bankrupt. They would soon kick us out. It has the virtue of being easy. They''d yell, but OK.
Ahhh A lefty victory... good effort muppets, now the enemy knows what we're up to! I really wonder if some people really understand what this means, you can't sit at a negotiating table after you've given the other side your plans and win, though I suspect that was the plan all along - good effort lefties! When the UK is eventually screwed can the last of the lefties please switch off the wind farm
Couple of things spring to mind here

1) She actually alos won a concession that labout wil lback the Article 50 in March. So the only loosers in this are the ardent Remoaners.
2) The 'plan' everyone bleats on about willnot be detailed, even the labour people asking for it know and say that. I see nothing wrong with a plan being set out (it must be pretty much already agreed with the EU). The plan cannot be detailed for obvious reasons, firstly so we dont show our hand but also because there is another interested party here - the EU. And they also will not want to show their hand.

So the plan has to be a timetable of intent. At present that is all that anyone can do.
ninefingers, to the left, we are the enemy!
Question Author
Ninefingers....the only reason we are having this vote today, is that 40 of Mrs May's own MPs were threatening to support a opposition motion.

To use a much loved phrase....she is frit !
Give it a rest Mikey, it's all becoming a bit boring.
40 ........... according to reliable sources(not the BBC) "as about 20 Tory MPs had been prepared to defy her by voting with Labour".
